Macau in 2007 has received the Future Award for the most promising tourist location of Asia. The casinos in Macau are an important part of the economy. Since in 2001 the monopoly on the casino market was opened up, one after another gambling palace is being built. Sightseeing on the island of Taipa are the Un Pou Tai temple, the Macau Jockey Club and the Casa museum in the village of Taipa. Sightseeing on the island of Coloane, the Tam Kong temple, the Chapel of St. Francis Xavier, the parks and Coloane SEAC Pai Van and the beaches Hac Sa (Black Sand), Cheoc Van (white sand) and Kao Ho (with snorkel - And diving activities).
