Travel information Bhutan traditions & culture: Bhutan is a country in Asia with 680,000 inhabitants. The kingdom is located partly on the Indian subcontinent. Other attractions are the Punakha Dzong in Punakha, the Himalayas, the Ktsechus (festivals), the kuje Lhakhang temple, the Tibetan Buddhist mountain monastery Takt Hang, the Ugyen Pelri Palace, the monastery monks Gangte Goemba and Dochu-La pass.
