The Mekong River flows through Laos come from Cambodia to Vietnam, where the Mekong delta. In Cambodia is the lake of Tonlé Sap (meaning 'Great lake' means in Khmer). Cambodia is especially known for the Angkor Wat temple, but unfortunately also because of the gruesome history under the regime of the Khmer Rouge (Khmer Rouge) led by Pol Pot. The Killingfields and the S21 prison each one will sound familiar.
